Hiram FONG Obituary

FONG, Jr., Hiram
Born November 10, 1934. Passed away November 9, 2011. Survived by sisters Katherine Moy, Elizabeth Eng, brother Joseph (Irene) Fong of Fairfield, sister-in-law Helen Fong, and brother-in-law William Poon of San Francisco. Hiram Jr. was a veteran of the Korean War. He loved bowling, golfing and enjoyed harness racing. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to the Chinese United Methodist Church. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, November 20, 2011 at CUMC, 2470 28th Ave, Sacramento, CA.

Hiram was a friend to many of us in the neighborhood! He helped more people than there's room enough to mention all the names... He will be remembered for his incredible genorosity, and love of golf,football, and gin rummy....We Love You Hiram! RIP

I'm very saddened to hear Hiram has passed. He spent a lot of time teaching and mentoring me as a youngster. He taught me to golf real good as well and we had fun playing at Perkins, Cordova, Riverbend, for many years. My sincere condolences to Hirams family on their loss.
