Sacramento, California - Ida Marie Remigi was born on January 6, 1927, in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Mario and Philomena Remigi of Rome, Italy. She was preceded in death by sisters Concetta Jaworski and Anne Colamartino, survived by sister Flora Jones, and many nieces and nephews. Ida had a long career in financial banking, and worked for the IRS after retirement. She was a wonderful philanthropist, volunteering a lot of her time at the St. Ignatius Food Bank and other church activities. Ida was incredibly social. She was a long time member of the Dante Club and Women's Auxiliary of Sacramento. Ida loved traveling to Hawaii, Europe, and the Far East. She leaves many loving friends and relatives in the US and Italy. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA on February 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

My wife and I both met at Crocker National Bank, Midtown, Downtown, Sacramento, California where we both worked with Ida Remigi. She was warm, loving, social, friendly, and I enjoyed working with her. She was a hard worker, and a wonderful person.
