Inge Hansen Scott

On May 3, 2017 Inge Hansen Scott, 51, passed away at the home of her mother in Benicia, CA. Growing up in Sacramento, she attended St. Francis High School and then the University of Colorado at Boulder where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. In her younger years, she was an outstanding athlete and avid skier. She eventually attended the Culinary Institute in San Francisco and continued her passion of cooking at the Skywalker Ranch for Lucas Films. She dedicated over 25 years to being a chef and most recently she worked at Urban Remedy in Marin. She enjoyed cooking, family vacations, visiting with friends and most importantly spending time with her daughter Grace. She is survived by her beautiful daughter Grace, mother, Diane Fontaine (Jim), father, Donald Hansen (Meg), her siblings, Mimi, Marinchak (Duke), Mike Newell (Jen), Katie Dudensing (Ed), Julie Skelly (Christian) and 11 nieces and nephews. Her laugh, sense of humor and big heart will always be remembered by family and friends. A celebration of Inge's life will be held at The Sutter Club 11-2pm on June 3.
