Hi "Dad",

I have never adequately expressed my thanks and admiration for your devotion and demonstration of your love for your family. You have been the perfect model husband, father, and friend that few can emulate. I also admire your skill and ready assistance in working with us in resolving the numerous problems we have faced in life. Thanks for being an important part of our family and the wonderful person you have been.

Love,

"Grandpa"

Jack, I am going to miss you. You were giving, kind, funny, and I always felt accepted by you. You were one of few words but we always wound up talking at family functions about all sorts of things. I have never forgotten the "house" you built me. So far it has been my first and only house, but I believe I will have another- (hopefully larger) someday. I hope that you are at peace and no longer in pain. I trust that you will look in on the rest of us -especially Cathy, Jay, Chris, Jamie and Jen from time to time. Jack: you will be missed dearly and forever loved. To the family: I send you all a hug and my prayers. Love to you guys always~

Cathy,

Although we only met Jack once, he made a lasting impression of being a generous, caring person. The two of you worked as a team helping at my sister, Liz's "Texas" theme birthday party. It was a great success, in part, due to all the hard work ya'll did.

We are blessed to have met him.

Our prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Cathy, Jamie, Jenny, Jay and Christopher.

I will miss Jack. He did so much work for me and our family over many, many years and those times will come to mind when I think of him. But more importantly, his quiet, kind, helping, caring ways are what his legacy really is.
