Jack Claypool Obituary
August 5, 1938 - June 29, 2022
Fair Oaks, California - Jack lost his battle with Parkinsons disease at his home with his children, Cherie and Michael by his side. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara, 1997. Jack grew up in Kelso, WA, where he exceled in academics and athletics. He served in the US Army and upon discharge was employed by Pac Bell/ AT&T until he retired. Jack and Barbara then, went into the used car business for a few years. Jack enjoyed water and snow skiing, but his true passion was BlackJack or 21.. Jack was intelligent, honest, hard working and provided well for his family. He is deeply missed and will always live on in our hearts and minds. He will be laid to rest June 14 , 2022 at 2pm at Mount Vernon in Fair Oaks CA.

This is Stan Fouch with a memory of Jack. Jack kept having transmissions go out on his 47 Ford. He was well liked by all and enjoyed attending KHS `57 reunions.

So sorry to hear about Cap'tain Jack. We worked for Western Electric through the '70s. We used to go boating in Lake Camanche and the Delta sloughs north of Stockton. We vacationed in Lake Shasta. Jack and Bobbie were always good company. Jack will be missed. Rest in Peace Cap'tain.

I knew Jack in high school. He was well thought of by everyone who knew him. Jack and my brother, Stan Fouch, graduated together and stayed friends all through the years. Jack will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My sympathies go out to his family.

I'll so miss Uncle Jack! As a young kid, I loved swimming around in his pool. As an adult, I loved playing blackjack with him in Reno! I will miss him so much!

What special times we had with your fun Dad, amazing Mom and both of you at Rollins
Lake, Oroville and Folsom Lake. So much fun watching you both grow up. All of you always showed us up in the water skiing and boating skills.
So sorry for the loss of a definite legend.
