Jimmy was among the best of us. No finer human being walked the planet. Privileged to be his high school classmate and basketball teammate, and lucky to have reconnected at La Jolla Presbyterian Church and at several of our class mini-chill gatherings in recent years. So sad to lose him so early. Rest in peace, my friend.

Jim was a quiet, kind, gentle, funny friend who was also a gifted athlete and effective leader. He put up a valiant fight against this horrible disease and will be deeply missed by his many friends at El Camino '61, among so many others.

I was so saddened to read of Jim's passing this morning. While we haven't seen you all in awhile I have such fond memories of him.. He was such a sweet and caring man and my heart and deepest sympathies go out to you and all who loved and knew him. We had some fun times in scouts and raising our boys for sure...
