Jim was a true friend of all of us and a long time Funk flyer and supporter of the Clarksburg Airport. His laugh and smile will be missed by all. Gone west now.

It is always with great sorrow, when I hear that a friend and fellow City employee has passed on.
Jim was a great guy to be around. Working out of the City Corp. yard we had contact a lot through out the years...Had fun at some Xmas parties didn't we...My heart and prayers go out to Barbara and his family..

James B. Buckman, the "B" stands for Braddock. Jim was named after the boxer, James Walter Braddock, who, on June 13, 1935, at Madison Square Garden Bowl, won the heavyweight championship of the world against Max Baer. Jim use to say, "My dad had to wait and see who won that heavyweight championship fight. If Max Baer would have won I'd be Maximilian Baer Buckman right now." A true story.

Jim helped me through some of the roughest times of my life. I hate to think of where I would be without his love, friendship, and support.
He was my friend, my brother, and my guardian angel. I will miss him and think of him often.

It is with great sadness that I read of Jim's passing. Jim was a great friend of my late husband, Bob McLaughlin. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
