Sacramento, California - Janet Marie McCracken was born in La Junta, Colorado to Jeffrey and Edith Johnson on April 14, 1945. She went to school at Central High School. She married her high school sweetheart Homer Lee McCracken Jr. and they have been together for 60 years. She often reminded her husband that he "wasn't funny". She loved her time spent with her grandchildren, traveling in the RV relaxing and working on her crossword puzzles.
Janet is preceded in death by her firstborn son Raymond Michael McCracken.
Janet is survived by her husband Homer McCracken, her two daughters and their spouses Virginia McCracken and Eric Widmyer, Christina and Ryan Coley grandchildren Brittany Kline, Carly Alexander, Briana and Andrew Coley, great-grandchildren, Eva, Isaac, Ivan, Eily and Ellany Kline, Oliver and Madison Higginbotham.
