Jean AMBROSAVAGE Obituary


AMBROSAVAGE, Jean Marie

Age 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 surrounded by her family at her home in Carmichael, CA from complications due to cancer.

Born May 2, 1953, Jean grew up in Madison, WI, and attended Madison East High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and graduated from the UW Law School in 1979.

Jean had a distinguished 20-year career in the Justice Dept., serving as a special agent for the FBI, and was based in New York City and Sacramento, CA. She retired in 2004 and was able to pursue her other passions in life which included the culinary arts, traveling and golf. She had a life-long love affair with France that began in 1973 when she spent her junior year abroad in Aix-en-Provence.

Predeceased by her mother Ethel. Jean is survived by her father, Charles, siblings Charles Jr., twin brother John, Mary, James, Margaret and Joseph, and her beloved nephew Andrew. Jean left us far too soon and will be sorely missed by all of us.

A private memorial service will be held in Citrus Heights on Wed., April 24. Email [email protected] for information regarding the service. A memorial will also be held in Madison WI at a later date.
