Here it is April, and I just heard about Jeff's passing. I'm sorry I didn't hear earlier, but it's never too late to offer condolences to Jeff's family and friends. I'm sure this came up at his service, but just in case it didn't, Jeff was a fabulous youth baseball coach in Elk Grove. He coached my son's coach-pitch team, the Dodgers, and you could not ask for a better leader. Jeff knew the game, had an outstanding demeanor with the little guys, made it fun for them, and you could tell he enjoyed every minute of it himself. And then, he was fun to hang out with after practices and games. We're sorry to see him leave so soon, but we'll see him again. You're now safe at "home," Jeff.

Jeffrey was a dear friend. We spent much time over the years sharing personal secrets, and giving each other loving advice and laughing. Jeffrey was a beautiful person inside and out. I'm saddened by his passing but joyful in the fact that he has two strong and handsome sons in which he has instilled great values. Jeffrey's legacy will definitely live on through his sons. May God bless all of you with peace and much love.

My heart goes out to the family. Jeffrey was a wonderful man and came from a wonderful family. He will be missed although if we continue to focus on the Lord, we too, we see him again one day. God bless you all and you're in my prayers.

Jeffrey was not only a family member (through marriage), he was a dear friend. We spent much time together over the years sharing personal secrets, debating, giving each other loving advice and laughing. Jeffrey had a beautiful smile & definitely loved to laugh! My prayers are for the Nelson family and all of the loving friends that Jeffrey left behind. Only God can grant us all peace that surpasses all understanding in times like these. Jeffrey was a beautiful person inside and out. I'm saddened by his passing but joyful in the fact that he has two strong and handsome sons in which he has instilled great values. Jeffrey's legacy will definitely live on through his sons. May God bless all of you with peace and much love.

Wow... You were the first person I met in Sacto! You and your family made me feel like... just that, family! As an adult, I never had a chance to say thank you! I know you're resting in our Daddy's arms. Say hello to my grandfather. He'll keep you laughing. I miss you, "Uncle" Jeff! Rest in perfect peace!

To the Nelson fam: I am sending my love and prayers to y'all. I pray that God continues to hold each of you together and comfort you in this time of loss/sorrow. Jeffrey is no longer suffering. Praise God! I will not be able to say my final "see you later". But I will be there in spirit! God bless you all!
