Auntie Joanie, as we called her, was a wonderful and caring woman, who welcomed my friend and me into here home when we were 18 years old and visiting them in Washington for a month. She was also my Godmother! A visit we shall never forget! Love you Auntie Joanie! You are an inspiration to us all! Jack Sandner

I pledged ADPi at Sac State in 1988 and many of the unforgettable parties were at Joan's house. I have so many fond memories of a wonderful hostess who kept a beautiful home. My condolences to the family.

Tom, Johnny and respective families. Your dear mother is now in the arms of the love of her life, (my mentor and dear friend) and your sweet and kind father, Phil. God bless all of you, now and forever.

My condolences to you and your family John. Your mother was a pleasure to be with. I remember the time she gave me some helpful advice for an upcoming interview. Her encouraging words helped give me the confidence to get the job. She was a remarkable person!
