Our deepest condolences to the family.

Rocky (keith, James's 1st born) often spoke of Grandpa's garden. He always remembered that.

I have called before and always got a voice mail.

You can reach me, Patty at 916 271-2112 or Rocky at 916 541-3107.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Poko,

I am going to miss you bunches. I am going to miss your cooking advice, your homemade remedies, our little spats about which side of the world is "God's Country". I am so glad that you finally got to meet your great-grandson Little Lyle. I only wish that we would have had more of a chance to spend some time together, and you could have told me more things about your adventures in life. But I was able to take after you with your Golden Gloves Poko! I love you and I miss you so much already. Please say hello to my father and keep him safe with you.

Lots of love,

Brenda Jean
