JOHNSON, John Richard
Found peace with our Lord on April 5, 2012. John was born in Woodland, CA to Dick and Mary Johnson on October 4, 1954. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Tom Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Patrice (married 1979); sons, Brian (Cathy) and Christopher (Amanda).
John was a devoted husband and father who found joy in his family. He enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends. His favorite vacation spot was Maui and enjoyed its golf courses. He was an active member of the Empire Ranch Mens Golf Club. They shared many rounds of golf, laughs and beers over the years.
Friends and family are invited to a vigil service and recitation of the rosary at Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Dr., Rescue, on Tuesday, April 10, at 7:00pm. Funeral mass at Holy Trinity, 3111 Tierra De Dios Dr., El Dorado Hills, on Wednesday, April 11, at 11:00am; reception immediately following mass at the church hall.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the SPCA.

My condolences to the family. John was my son's cub scout leader many years ago. He was a positive influence for my son and many of the other boys. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
