Joseph Valadez Obituary

VALADEZ, JOSEPH J.
Born June 1,1925 in Susanville, CA. and passed away March 16, 2002 in Sacramento, CA. He is survived by his wife, Toni; four daughters, Debbie Clow of Maui; Regina Baldwin, Sandra Valadez and Tina Anderson of Sacramento; a brother, Albert Valadez of Susanville; and sisters Rosena Gutierrez and Jean Messinger of Portola, CA. Joe had 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Joe also had 3 stepsons, Robert and Daniel Jordan and Jerry Erquiaga, and a stepdaughter, Sharon Emery. Joe was a member of the VFW Post 1267. He was a Marine during WWII and received the Purple Heart for an injury incurred during the landing on Iwo Jima; he served from March 1943 to October 1945. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial service will be held on March 21, at 2:00PM at the VFW Post #1267, 7576 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Arrangements entrusted to SACRAMENTO MEMORIAL LAWN.
