GAMBLES, Kevin Zachary
Was born October 2, 1989 in Sacramento CA. He passed away October 20, 2006 in El Dorado Hills, CA. Kevin is survived by his loving father, Brett W Gambles of El Dorado Hills; loving mother DeAnn Perkins and stepfather Dan Perkins of Vale, Or; grand parents Velma & Glenn Gambles of El Dorado Hills; grandparents Margaret and Douglas Shore and great grand parents Margaret & Everett Greear of Diamond Springs; great grandparents Arlene & Harry Shore of Placerville; Aunt Martha and Uncle Brandon and cousins Connor & Devon Gambles of El Dorado Hills; brother Danny Perkins of Vale Oregon; step-brother Eric Perkins of Placerville, step sisters Raquel and Danielle Perkins, nieces Alyssa and Unity and many other aunts, uncles & cousins in the Gambles, Shore and Perkins families. He was loved immensely by his entire family. Like most 17 year olds Kevin's top priorities were talking on the cell phone and "hanging out" with his many friends. He enjoyed driving his Toyota 4 runner and listening to his sound system. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and an extremely talented artist and musician. He was an outstanding wrestler, soccer and baseball player. He enjoyed working with farm animals and participated in many 4-H activities including showing cattle at the El Dorado and Amador County Fairs. He loved his dogs, two mini-pins and a mini-beagle. Kevin was an extremely generous and caring person who reached out to others, especially those who were sad or lonely. We miss him more than words can express. He will always be in our hearts and memory. A memorial service to commemorate Kevin's life will be held Wednesday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Valley Mortuary on Alexandrite at Green Valley Road and Bass Lake Roads in Cameron Park.
