Kevin McBurney Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Robyn and their son, Justin, his brothers Michael of Georgia and Brooks of Maryland. He was predeceased by his parents John and Patricia McBurney. He had been a resident of Woodland for over 25 years. Mac had a great love for his family, nieces and nephews, Parry - his dog and golfing buddies at Arbuckle Golf Course. He was in the seed business for years as a partner in Hirahara Seeds of Salinas, California. Following that he had a brief tenure with the state of California as a Cattle Brand Inspector and was also a consultant with Alsco-Geyer of Arbuckle. McNary's of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at the Arbuckle Golf Course, Arbuckle, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday the June 6. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Christian School Gymnasium, c/o Woodland Christian School, 1616 West Street, Woodland, CA 95695.

Mrs. McBurney, i am so sorry and sadden about Mac's sudden passing., it was so thoughtfull and strong of you to be at the Class of 2008's Graduation, you mean alot to that class and to our family. remenbering back i met Mac first then you, what a god sent for you., you are a loving, caring women that has touched many of the young peoples lives., laura called and asked me if you had a husband and if that was your husband that had passed., i said yes., he was a great person i met him first., then your teacher., she and her friends were sad., they really didn't think you had a husband., because you put so much of yourself for the kids and the school., I'm thinking of you always Michelle Paschke
