Elk Grove, California - Larry Ray Davidson passed away in his sleep the morning of March 1st, 2026, after a battle with metastatic kidney cancer. The long time Rancho Cordova resident was in an assisted living facility in Elk Grove. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carol Jean Davidson, and sons Scott and Jeff. Larry joined the Navy at 17 during the Vietnam War, then went on to work for AT&T for over 4 decades. He loved movies, reading, camping, and enjoying a meal with loved ones. He pursued many creative hobbies including woodworking, leather crafting and making beautiful works of stained glass. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to The American Cancer Society.
