Larry Kavanaugh Obituary
A devoted educator and prolific writer, Larry spent 14 years at Fresno City College, advancing to Director of Community Services while teaching English and journalism. He later served as Director of Mendocino Coast Community College, where he played an integral role in establishing a permanent campus in Fort Bragg.
A long-time Rotary International member, Larry served as District Governor in 1996. He cherished fine art, opera, travel, and his Irish heritage.
Larry is survived by daughters Regan Kavanaugh-Brick, Leslie Kavanaugh, and Justine Kavanaugh-Brown; grandchildren Joleen Brick, Callan Conroy, Aidan Brick, and Emilie Brown; and great-grandson Bray Conroy.
