September 24, 1943 - July 27, 2025
Sacramento, California - Lawrence, known to most as "Larry" or "Juke," passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the family he cherished. Born in Sacramento, Larry was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Cosmon and Rita Martello, and his nephew Bobby Spears. He is survived by his sister Joyce Spears; nieces Tamara Spears (her spouse Becky) and Nicole Spears; and a wide circle of family and friends.
A Navy veteran, Larry proudly served his country from 1964 to 1968. As a member of the Italian Hot Rod Association, Larry's love for classic cars was more than a hobby - it was a major part of his life.
Family was the cornerstone of Larry's life. His steadfast love, gentle humor, and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services will be held August 6 at St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center 6509 Fruitridge Rd. Sacramento, Ca 95820.
9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Visitation.
10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Mass.
11 a.m. Interment.

Heavenly Father,
I lift up to You my dearest friend Lawrence, whom I have loved since my youth.
Thank You for the gift of his life, his kindness, and the memories we shared.
Receive him now into Your eternal embrace,
where there is no more pain, sorrow, or parting.
Lord Jesus, comfort my heart with Your peace.
Help me to carry Larry´s memory with love and hope,
until we are reunited in Your heavenly kingdom.
With my love always,
I entrust Larry to You, O Lord.

Larry.....truly one of a kind-funny, warm, and full of life. I´ll always treasure the memories we shared, the laughter, and especially those moments dancing together to some classic Motown. Larry had a special way of bringing joy wherever he went, and I feel lucky to have known him. Thank you, Larry, for the good times, the music, and the unforgettable friendship. Rest in peace, my friend, and dance among the angels. Heartfelt prayers to aunt Joycie, Steve/Linda & their beautiful families.
