Leopoldo Velasco Obituary
Tragically taken on April 24, 2009. Born on April 13, 1986, 23 years old. Preceded in death by his father, Leopoldo Velasco Jr.; brother, Richard Cordero; nephew, Izaiah Happ. Survived by his mom, Susie Ames; sisters, Annette (Martin), Rosalina (Pelon), Susanna (Tim), Amalia; nieces and nephews. Leo will be forever missed by his loved ones. Friends are welcome for visitation Monday, May 4, 2009 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by a Prayer Service from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, at the GEORGE L. KLUMPP CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, Riverside Boulevard and 2nd Avenue. Friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Service, 12 Noon Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at KLUMPP'S CHAPEL. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

I will like to say Thank you all for your support and prayers.. Especially that night leo was taken from us, family came together that night and again Thank you!!! Leo I miss you, Not a day goes by that you are not thought of.. You dont know the pain and the hurt I go thru each day.. I just know you are in a better place.. Leo, I think about you everyday. Everytime I go past your street I wish I could see you walkin down the street. I miss you. I dont really know what to say. Thank you for the laughs. We had fun and we will again oneday!

Leo, there are so many things i wish i would have told you that last time we talked. i hope you know that i hold a love for you like no other, just because our relationship as a couple was over dosent mean our friendship was or the lkove we had for each other was over....for so long you were best friend my love my wittle weowaldo..... a day does not go by that i dont think of you, miss you and even talk to you, i dream about you and pray for you every day. i know the day i left your viewing and i was driving home you played that song for me to let me know that we'll be together again ONE SWEET DAY!!!!!

My paryers & thoughts are with you. I just have to say, a week before you passed away i had a talk with my cuz and it was a talk that we need for the both of us.... I'm glad i sat there and talked to him for just those two hours it was great and the one thing i can say is: I got to tell my cuz: I love you and take care...

Brother its been heard dealin with you not bein here with us each day but i know one day we'll meet again. I love you and miss you dearly. you were my friend my brother and my son. I miss hearin you laugh and seein you at mom's or Rosalina's as you would your home. The pain hurts but each day its gettin a little better but i still cant believe you're gone.
