Linda Chambers Obituary

Linda Jean Dominguez Chambers passed away after a few long years of health issues on November 25, 2014 in La Mesa, CA. Linda was born to Monseis and Annie Dominguez on December 30, 1949. She was raised and lived most of her adult life in North Highlands, CA attending schools, working at schools, and volunteering with schools, camp fire girls, and Parks and Rec. Linda was a member of the Nazarene church in Sacramento and most recently the El Centro, CA church where she spent the later years of her life. Linda lived a full life and especially enjoyed her last years traveling and making the best of the friendships she had, although her oldest friends she still cared for deeply and often would come up in conversation about her greater, younger years. Linda was preceded in death by her son Curtis Westmoreland, Father Monseis, and Mother Annie. She is survived by Brother, Gilbert Dominguez, Daughter, Sonjia Chambers (Matt Petree), grandsons Gavin and Jackson and a very special granddaughter with whom she never gave up hope on reuniting with. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 22 at 10:00 a.m. where she will be laid to rest besides her beloved Curtis at Sierra Hills Memorial Park in Citrus Heights.
