Manuel Continho Obituary

Born on July 26,1928 in New Jersey to Maria Rezend and Miguel Continho,who emigrated from Portugal. He was the first person in his family born in the US. A World War Two veteran who served in the Army during the occupation of Japan. He moved to California and had a long career with the San Mateo Union High School District. A resident of Antelope, he passed into the loving arms of Jesus on March 26,2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Lois. daughter Lucina, sons Michael and James(Irene),sisters Jolene, Ellen & Maria, three grandsons & one great grandson. Manny's passion was talking. He never met a stranger. "Do not stand at my grave and weep for I am not there. For I am home with The Lord".At Manny's request, no services will be held.
