Marc Castle Obituary
Mar. 11, 1957-Aug. 7, 2007
Survived by his father Bob Castle, daughters Michelle Mae Stone and Sandee Lea Stanbridge, son Marc Alan Castle Jr. and sister Barbara Mae Matthes. This last year he became the proud grandfather to Trinity Rae and Colton Creek. Marc grew up in Rio Linda where he was a star football player in Pop Warner and High School. He moved to Citrus Heights 27 years ago and opened his own taxidermy shop. Showing his great passion for the outdoors he was an avid hunter and fisherman with a heart of gold. Marc was happiest with friends and family and had a sense of humor and laughter that will never be forgotten. He will always remain in our hearts, his memories will always be shared and his strength will always be admired. Here's to a great man who always said he was born a century too late.

I am very sorry to hear about Marc. I am an old hunting buddy, and friend of many years. Marc was a mentor to me and I always looked forward to our next adventure. I met him in 1977 and we made several expeditions in California and also Idaho. I will miss him very much.
