Marcus Don Webb was born in Dallas, TX to Leon Webb, Sr. and Doris Webb. Marcus (AKA Mark) relocated to Sacramento, CA in 1968. Mark graduated from Luther Burbank High School as a star football player in 1978. Hindered by a knee injury his senior year in high school and unable to pursue his football career in college, Mark became employed with Heritage Convalescent Hospital as a CNA until 1981. From 1981 until the passing of his father and mother, Mark devoted his life to caring for his parents. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Leon Webb, Sr. and Doris Webb and two brothers, Hugh Webb, Sr. and James Webb. Mark leaves to cherish 3 brothers, Keith Webb, Sr., Leon Webb Jr., and Kenneth Webb; 2 sisters, Kenya Webb and Lakeitha Webb-Smith, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 4-7 pm at Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes, 4200 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95817. Homegoing Celebration will be Tuesday January 11, 2011 at 11am at Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery following funeral services.

I graduated with Marcus from Luther Burbank in 78. I remember him being popular and well liked. He was an amazing football player to watch. I was very saddened to see that he had passed away and send my condolences to the family. My name was Joanne Williams at the time.
