Karen...
I was surprised to hear of Mark's passing. I kept looking for the obit and missed it. I was told today that it did indeed appear. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the service.
Mark and I went back to the 80s when we co-taught a postal course and were general supervisors working for Tom Dunbar. He made a big difference in my life several times and I will miss him. He left us far too young.
I hope that you have/will overcome this setback and continue on with your life as I know you are able.

This is truly sad news for all of us who knew Mark as both a friend and a co-worker. He was someone who had great class, wisdom, a good sense of humor, and was always someone who you could not help but to admire.
I am sorry that I just learned of his passing this week and missed an opportunity to be there for the family and his friends.
There are some people who come into this world who are destined to make a difference in other people's lives - Mark was one of those whom we will never forget. He cared about life and other people and was loyal to his family and friends.
I can remember back to when the new facility was being built in West Sacramento - and Mark along with Mike Claycomb and Johnny Garrard were teamed up to help get things together for the big move there. It is rather ironic that those three souls have all left us so soon.
My loving prayers go out to Kathy and the entire family. I wish I could do more.
May God bless all Mark's family and all his many friends.

Kathy, my heart goes out to you during this time and my prayers are with you. Mark meant so much to me as he was my mentor when he took me under his wing and guided me through some rough times when automation was new to the USPS at Royal Oaks. I will truly miss him and again, you will always be in my prayers; may God bless and keep you safe. Richard

I first met Mark back in 1982 when we worked on the first of many postal projects together. He was my good friend and supporter when I transferred to Sacramento in 2000. I always admired his knowledge and good humor. He leaves a void that won't be filled. We are praying for Kathy and Mark's family. May God bless them.
