Mark ORRICK Obituary



ORRICK, Mark Norman
Born 30 June 1960 in Sacramento, CA and died suddenly 10 August 2011 in Wilton, CA. He is survived by his parents Norman and Marilyn Orrick of El Dorado, CA; sisters, Elizabeth 'Buffy' Baum (Phillip) of Salt Lake, UT, Gail Flynn (George) of Arlington, OR and Crystal Jones (Michael) of Elk Grove, CA and children Cody and Sara Orrick of Elk Grove, CA. He attended school in the Elk Grove District, high school in Baumholder Military Community, Germany and the University of Maryland, Munich, Germany. He worked in ranching, retail sales, building component manufacturing and building maintenance. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held 7 PM Friday Sept. 9, 2011 at the Country Oaks Baptist Church, 9717 Bond Road, Elk Grove, CA 95624. In lieu of flowers a donation for the children to the 'Mark Orrick Memorial Fund' at any El Dorado Savings Bank would be appreciated.

I will miss you always Markie!! I have so many memories and almost all of them bring a smile to my face. I will always be grateful for your friendship and I will never forget how you were there for me, Jeremy and Jayme. You have the biggest heart and have always had a kind soul. God is with you during this very difficult time. Tracy, wrap your arms tight around Cody, Sara, and Brandon. I know how important Mark was to Brandon. We are praying very hard for you, your family along with Marks family. You're an amazing Mom and will always keep his memory alive for the children. We are truly sorry this has happened to all of you. We know how much all of you will miss him~
