Martin Mamuyac Obituary

Martin died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 21, 2017, according to the information from the coroner's office. The results of an autopsy are still pending. Martin and his older brother Clarence (deceased) were born in Sacramento, CA to the parents of Eleanor & Martin Mamuyac, Sr. (deceased). Martin was born on July 24, 1948. He is survived by his wife Debby, daughter Debbie Boettin, son Daxton Mamuyac (Diana), sister, Clara Ajero, sister Monica Maldonado (Robert), and very dear friends Dorina & Charlie Tomei, and good family friend Rollie Mamauag. Martin was always the front runner to any event, or getting the family together, helping and caring for all of us. Members of his family included numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunties & uncles. Martin served in the Navy (Vietnam Veteran), and he retired from the SPD as a Sgt., and became involved in many programs. Currently, he was employed by the Crime Alert Program located at SPD. He also served as a Le Chaplin. Martin was a good son who would come home from Roseville every day to feed his father in a South Sacramento rest home and also take him to his house to work in the garden. He was indeed the knight in shinning armor. We all loved Martin so very much and we're hoping that God will bless him & keep him under his care. A memorial service was held at the Bayside Adventure Church in Rocklin, Ca, Jan 6, 2018, 10 am. Reception followed.
