GREENE, Marvin Duane
Passed away on Monday June 21, 2010 at a Hanford Hospital. He was born July 9, 1955 to the late Cornell ''Bobby'' Greene and Susie Riley Williams in Kankakee, Illinois. Marvin grew up in Kankakee and graduated from West View High in 1973. He moved to Sacramento, California in 1987. That is where Marvin found his soul mate, Anna Marie Reyes and her son Brandon David Reyes. They were married on April 13, 2002, and became a family of 3. Marvin worked for FedEx Freight Inc. as a road driver. Marvin loved music, fishing, traveling, boxing and socializing. He cherished his family and friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, aunt and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Reyes-Greene, 1 daughter, Carole Brown, and 1 stepson, Brandon Reyes, all of Sacramento, his mother, Susie Williams of Illinois, his stepmother, Momma Shirley Greene of Illinois, 3 brothers, DeWane Farrell (Janice) of Illinois, Troy Farrell (Iris) of Atlanta and Kenneth Farrell (Cassandra) of Illinois, 4 sisters, Cynthia Miller (Jesse) of Illinois, Sheila Vaughn of Illinois, Deborah Greene of Indiana, Montinique Ervin (Scottie) of Atlanta, 4 grandsons, 1 aunt, Sylvia Greene of Illinois, 1 brother-in-law, Rudy Reyes (Joanne) of Napa. Memorial pending.

My prayers are with Marvin and you and family Anna! As he always said, "we are family" and we loved each other as such.
