Mary Cantil Obituary

June 5, 2018 Intelligent, beautiful and strong - she lived a full life with love from family. One of 11 children of hard-working Filipino immigrants, she knew poverty but did well, retiring from state service. She valued work and education. She liked singing and enjoyed family get-togethers and reunions. Her children cared for her as glioblastoma took her life. Her eternal soul joined husband Clarence Cantil and son Marc Cantil Woolbright. She is survived by daughters Tani Cantil-Sakauye (Mark) Chief Justice of California, and Kim Cantil (Joe Wender); son Clem Cantil (Subrina); grandchildren Brandon Woolbright, Kira Cohen, Hana and Clare Sakauye, Clement and Taiko Cantil, and great grandson Jax Woolbright.
