Mary Moffett Obituary
MOFFETT, Mary F.
Died March 30, 2009. A native of Sacramento, born November 20, 1913, aged 95 years. She worked at Jones, Brand & Hullen Real Estate, as Mr. Jones' secretary for many years. She was a member of Califia #22 native daughters of the Golden West and a member of NDGW past presidents. Preceded in death by her husband Elmer Moffett Jr. and sisters, Ellen Ward, Catherine Kelly and Genevieve McPoil. She will also be missed by her surviving sister Goldy Renwick. She was the beloved aunt of Frank Renwick (Renee), Tom Renwick, Nancy Koenig (Mark), Carol Isom (Brett), and great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Friend are invited to attend a Rosary Service, Thursday April 2 at 7:00pm, at W. F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue, and are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered for the repose of her soul on Friday (4/3), at 12:30pm, St. Mary's Church, 1333 58th Street. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. Remembrances in her honor may be made to the N.D.G.W. Childrens Foundation, 555 Baker Street, San Francisco, CA 94117, or a charity of one's choice.
