Michael Greer Obituary
Mike went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 6, 2003, after bravely battling cancer for over a year. Born on July 21, 1951 in Auburn, CA, Mike attended Bella Vista and Casa Roble High Schools. Mike was happiest on this earth when spending time with what he loved most: music, sports, and his family. Even more than he loved the Giants, Kings, 49ers, and Raiders, Mike loved his four children: Jason, Michelle, Scott, and Michael, who will miss him dearly. He is also survived and missed by his siblings: Jack, Bonnie, Gene, Joan, Don, Bob, Joyce and Linda; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Warehouse Christian Ministries, 9933 Business Park Drive in Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the CA Hospice Foundation in honor of Michael Greer, 1510 J St. #135, Sac., CA 95814.

Mike was a good friend of mine, a real good friend. I just learned he passed I had moved out of state. I played drums, was playing 5 nights a week at one point!! I never met a better guitar player than Mike, I mean he was way good. He was a good man with a good heart. We had some good times when we were young in our twenties, I'm in my 70's now. He was a great guy, and now that I'm a geezer I can really appreciate the man he was.

I had a very breif friendship with Michael back in 1995 (strictly platonic). His childen might remember me. We went on a shopping trip to 'Toys R Us'. I was very sad to read of his passing. I thought of him often over the years wondering how he was doing but didn't have any idea how to reach him. My deepest sympathy to the children (who are most likely grown by now). I know he loved each of you very much. My heart goes out to his entire family. Sincerely, Eileen Langlois
