Miyoko Doi Obituary
Born October 5, 1919, passed away on November 6, 2006 at the age of 87. Resident of Auburn, CA for over 59 years that historically closes an era of fruit ranching. During WWII, she was interned at Manzanar Relocation Center in 1943-45. She enjoyed family gatherings and seeing her 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren play and grow. Preceded in death by her husband, Sumio Doi. Survived by daughters, Sharon Okray of Santa Rosa, CA, Louise Franco of West Sacramento, CA, Christine Atteberry & Cecille Castellon of Roseville, CA. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 11:00 am, Newcastle Dist. Cemetery, 850 Taylor Road, Newcastle, CA.

To My Mother: What a long cherishable life that you had with us. I thank you for being there for me. I know now that when you go down in health, sometimes your days are counted. Thank you for trying to hold onto life and we shall meet again. And don't worry mom, we will not always be out playing the slot machines. Watch over us and we will miss you dearly.
