Moses GARDUNO Obituary

GARDUNO, III, Moses E.
Sunrise: October 9, 1969
Sunset: February 2, 2011
Born and raised in Sacramento, CA to parents Moses and Hope Garduno. Nephew to Henry Saucedo. Brother of Sylvia, Sophia and Sheila. He was a great father to his children Monique and Moses IV who are shared with Naomi Lopez. Moses was a very outgoing and loving person who loved listening to music and was a good break dancer. He also loved spending time with his family whether it was a birthday or just sharing quality time. He was always there to give you advice and lend you a hand whenever needed. He had a special place in his heart for his companion and friend Fatso the dog, they were inseparable and loved taking walks together. Moses was greatly loved for all of the good times he shared with so many people, he shall never be forgotten and will forever be missed. Services will be held at 10am on Thursday February 10 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd.

Auntie Hopie and cousins,
My Memories will always be in our hart
Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds.
And whose breath gives life to all the world.
Hear me! I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes
Ever hold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made.
My ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand
The things you might teach me.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
In every leaf and rock.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother.
But to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
Make me always ready to come to you
With clear hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset.
My spirit may come to you without shame.
We always have you all in our hart!
The Jimenez Family Rudy & Pammy and Rosie,Fredrick,Cousins! God Bless the family!

I LOVE YOU MY DEAR COUSIN AND I WISH THAT I WOULD HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND TALK WITH YOU. IT SEEMS LIKE OUR "BIG" FAMILY THAT WE DO HAVE, DOESN'T OR HASN'T TAKEN ANY TIME TO SPEND TOGETHER ANYMORE.... SINCE GRANDMA GARDUNO PASSED AWAY. ANYWAYS, I REMEMBER BACK IN THE DAYS, HOW OUR FAMILY USE TO BE AND ALL THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD AS CHILDREN GROWING UP. I SAW YOUR SISTER SHEILA A FEW MONTHS AGO AT AM PM. SHE HAD JUST STARTED A NEW JOB AND WAS SO HAPPY... SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE ME AND I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE HER TOO...I GUESS SEEING HER MADE ME REALIZE JUST HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS. HOW TIME FLY'S AND MAKES LIFE TOO SHORT. IT SEEMS LIKE SO MANY OF US TAKE FOR GRANTED THE TIME WE HAVE HERE ON EARTH.. THAT WE SHOULD LIVE OUR LIFE IN THE MOMENT YOU EACH DAY WE ARE GIVEN AND LIVE IT AS IF IT WERE OUR LAST DAY ALIVE... TOO THEE FULLEST WITH NO REGRETS OR WORDS LEFT UNSPOKEN.. YESTERDAY IS GONE FOREVER, AND THERE ISN'T ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT DAY... TOMORROW, WELL, THE SUN HAS YET TO RISE, AND WITH ALL IT'S HOPE AND PROMISE THAT COULD BE... THE SUN HAS YET TO RISE AND ISN'T PROMISED TO EVERYONE... THAT IS WHY I LIVED MY LIFE BY THESE WORD'S. LIVE LIFE TODAY IS IF IT WERE YOUR LAST... IT IS ONLY WHEN WE LET THE BURDENS OF YESTERDAY AND HOPE TOMORROW GET IN OUR WAY OF LIVING TODAY FOR ALL IT'S WORTH ARE WE MOST LIKE TO FAIL.. ANYONE CAN FIGHT A BATTLE FOR JUST ONE DAY!! I JUST FEEL SO SAD AND AT A GREAT LOSS WITH YOU GONE. WE JUST LOST TONY AND A FEW OF OUR OTHER COUSINS AND YOUR DAD... MY DEAR AND FAVORITE UNCLE JR "MOSES" LIFE IS TOO SHORT AND I WILL MISS YOU CUZZZANT AND I PRAY THAT YOU NOW HAVE PEACE IN YOUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL. GIVE YOUR DAD A GREAT BIG HUG AND KISS FROM HIS NIECE FRANCES JANE BENAVIDEZ, AND FROM HIS LITTLE SISTER "MY MOM" MARTHA JANE GARDUNO.

REST IN PEACE COUSIN I WILL FOREVER HOLD YOU DEAR IN MY HEART... ALL MY LOVE AND RESPECT TO YOUR MOM, SISTERS, AND CHILDREN. MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL YOU.

YOUR ALL IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS..
FOREVER WITH LOVE,
COUSIN FRANCES J BENAVIDEZ
