My heart aches because I know what it is like to lose a parent, it is so hard and the feeling of loss is so deep. I remember Nancy very fondly, have wedding showers, baby showers and teaching me to make bread and butter pickles. She was a very loving person and loved her family deeply and unquestionably.

Our deepest sympathy to your family for the loss of such a wonderful & vibrant woman. I remember her smile & laugh. And as with my mom, her family was everything. Cherish all the glorious memories so Nancy can live on in your hearts.

We all called her Gigi. Stood for GreatGrandma, she was the best great grandma in the world. I spent so much time with her before she passed, i spent so much time with her all my life. Every weekend as a kid, spending the night at her house. Friday nights we always went out to eat, her favorite Mimis Cafe and P.F. Changs. She loved to eat a good meal. But her home cooked food beat all restaurants in the world. She made all her food with love. She loved everyone like they were her own. She always was in a happy mood, it was something ive never seen before in anyone. She taught me so much all my life. To have manners, cook, get good grades, and live with my head held high. You always wanted me to do good. I kno you will be watching me grow into a strong man. Im going to make you proud Gigi. People say i love you to death. Well i still love you, im going to have my lonely night talks with you, and probably pour my eyes out. I miss you so much and your always going to be in my heart and on my mind. You always had my back.

I didn't know you very well, but well enough to have experienced your willingness to help another...taking a member's call, a morsel of G1 knowledge to share, or just a friendly voice on the other end. That's what I'll remember about you. Rest in Peace and fly to HIM Nancy Von Blond, fly...

You will always be here in spirit Mother. My heart will never stop aching for your smile and touch. You were an incredible mother and grandmother. I honor you now by trying to carry on with the lessons you have taught me. No one will ever love me like you did.
