Nash CASAS Obituary



CASAS, Nash
On April 23, 2011 we lost our beloved family patriarch, Nash Casas. Born July 31, 1925 in El Paso TX, he made his home in West Sacramento. Wonderful husband to Connie and adoring father of David (Shelley) Casas and Rebecca (Frank) Ronquillo. The world's best grandfather to Alexander Ronquillo, Becky (Dan) Snow, Daryl (Stephaine) Casas. He is also survived by his sister Mary Martinez. Preceded in death by his parents Nestor and Otilia Casas and siblings, Frances Martinez, Sidney and Art Casas, Carol Marquez and Eleanor Borquez. Adored uncle who had great concern for all his nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. A consummate showman til the end even with advanced Parkinson's disease. He worked in the plastering trades for 25 years. A 38 year member of American Legion Post 77. His delights were golfing, poker and Cache Creek buffet. He will continue to be the delight of our hearts forever. Friends are welcome to attend the Memorial Service, Monday, May 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd Sacramento CA 95838. Inurnment Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
