Neva Sue Liddell

LIDDELL, Neva Sue (Wilborn)
Nov. 22, 1957 - July 22, 2008

On July 22, 2008, Neva went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After a four-year long battle with cancer, Neva passed away peacefully in the presence of her family and has been crowned by her maker where she will live a glorious eternal life. She was preceded in death by her father John Wilborn and grandparents. Neva is survived by her loving husband Brad of 35 years, her cherished daughters Nanette, Jennifer, and Kristen, her treasured grandchildren, Garrett, Cody, Kaitlin, and Hannah, her dear mother Beverly, siblings Jo Ann and Jack as well as many other family members.
Neva was born on November 22, 1957 and was raised in Fresno, CA until 1975, two years after marrying Brad Liddell, the family moved to Sacramento, CA.
Neva was a woman of many talents spending her early years working for the Sacramento County Office of Education and driving a school bus. She then had the opportunity to demonstrate her compassion for others by working with special needs children. After several years of devoting her time, Brad and Neva took a big step in becoming proud owners of Classic Awards and Trophy Company. Not only was Neva the President of the company, but she gave her entire heart in producing what has become a successful business.
Regardless of the disease, Neva never let her faith waiver and continued to value life and its offerings with a smile on her face. To say the least, Neva was a caring, generous, selfless person to her family and to all whom she cared about. Nothing brought her greater joy than embracing life's moments with her children, grandchildren and husband. She took great pride in her family and was a very supportive and encouraging mother and wife. Although she will be missed immensely, we trust her in the hands of God and will forever hold in our hearts the truly amazing legacy she has left us.
A celebration of Neva's life will be held August 2, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Horizon Community Church in Galt, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Horizon Community Church, 446 Fairway Drive, Galt, CA 95632. (209) 745-0700.
