Walnut Creek, California - Norma Clausen Keldgord died December 24, 2022.
Born September 19, 1928 to Lester and Thelma Clausen. After attending Alameda public schools, Norma graduated from Cal in 1951. She earned a teaching credential from University of Holy Names.
Norma was a community volunteer serving as Past Worthy Advisor, Order of Rainbow Girls. She was in the Assistance League, and served in the Sac Children's Receiving Home Guild, board for the CA Assn for Neurologically Handicapped Children, AAUW, and was a member of the Interwheel Rotary Club.
Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Keldgord (m. 1952). She is survived by her 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandsons.
Memorial Services will be held at St. Luke's Church in Walnut Creek on February 12 at 11 am. The family requests remembrances to charities of the donor's choice, especially charities which serve children.

Norma (and Bob) Keldgord were like extended family from my earliest memories. They and my parents met during college and the friendship never stopped. I have wonderful memories of visits, overnight stays, group ski trips, holiday celebrations, and more.
Normal always welcomed us with open arms at their home in the Oakland Hills, Tucson, and Carmichael.
Friends don't come any better! On behalf of myself, my parents (George and Pat who predeceased you) and my brother Steve, thank you for your love and friendship and caring through the years. You will be missed.
