Dr. Neubuerger's sense of humor and his kindness will be missed but not forgotten. My father and wife were fortunate to see him just a couple of weeks ago at a CMA event in Sacramento. It was my wife's first visit to the local CMA office with it's collection of historical artifacts. Otto was a gracious tour guide. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Tina and family,
I just wanted to say how sorry I am to read about your dad. He was always such a good guy, and a person of real character.. I saw him a couple of years ago out shopping. He proudly gave me the Tina update.. Though he had incredible professional accomplisthments, he was a husband and father first. You were all so blessed to have him for a father and your sweet mom for a mother. My thoughts are with you.

Otto was one of the finest human beings I have known. He had the rarest dry humor, was a master of ironic wit, had wisdom and modesty at the same time. My family were always honored to be with the Neubuerger family, and Otto had genuine curiosity about where thoughts and beliefs came from in the people around him. He would draw people out so easily, curious always to what they really wanted to talk about. He was a fine poet and storyteller, and I hope one day his poetry is published. His patients loved him, going way beyond respect.
He spoke about difficult things with humility and strength. I will miss him very much, love to all the fine children and grandchildren in the Neubuerger family May we all carry memories of Otto all the rest of our lives. One of his last discoveries; bet the five horse, he had it working at Cal Expo, one of the best places we found to get together and talk about life. All the rest was just a backdrop. He always made me laugh, and did this gracefully with support for all the major milestones in our family. James, Betty, Ashley, and Cameron Cooper

I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I spent alot of time at your house when your family was at Presentation and continued my stays when you moved to Crocker Rd. Your dad was always so patient and kind, even when Heidi and I were a little bit noisy. Big hugs to all of you - you're such a wonderful family.

We have known Otto Neubuerger since 1941 when he lived in Denver.Pat went to grade school, high school and medical school with Otto. Katie went to Loretto Heights College in Denver with Sheilagh. We frequently doubled dated. We will miss Otto's kindness, wisdom and quiet sence of homor. Our last happy memory of Otto was during our trip together to San Francisco two years ago. During the same visit, Otto and Katie laid flowers at Sheilagh's grave site.We can not think of any one whom we admired more than Otto.

To all of you Neubuergers and family: Otto was such a great guy and a wonderful surrogate grandfather to Lyndsey and Jack. We told the story of him donning the purple wig that he and Omah bought Lyns and Shannon when they were into "dress-up" - he looked fabulous, of course. Much love and many prayers to all of you at this very tough loss. The Quatmans in Montana

Otto Neubuerger was such an impressive man in our lives. He practiced medicine by day, then came home and was an active participant in many aspects of the household, including doing the dishes. He could make everyone laugh with a wry comment and his wide smile. He lives on in our hearts, along with his wife Sheilah and daughter Heidi (Katherine). Our very sincere condolences, Fawn, Bryed Lee, Kindra, Darin and Tristen Billerbeck

I have fond memories of Dr. Neubuerger visiting the Sacramento Zoo with his family. I was always touched by the time they would take to gather at their family bench. My thoughts are with all the family.
