Peggy Paulson Obituary

PAULSON, Peggy J.
Born on July 31, 1944, Peggy passed away peacefully at home at the age of 60 on August 20, 2004, as a result of complications of cancer and Multiple Sclerosis. A graduate of El Camino High School and California State University Chico, Peggy dedicated her life and love to family, friends and people in general. An elementary school teacher for over 25 years, she found true joy teaching Sacramento's young people. Peggy is survived by her husband of 38 years Ron Paulson, and her daughters Kimberly Paulson of Piedmont and Pamela Chambers of San Diego. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 27, 2004, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 2425 Sierra Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made on Peggy's behalf to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4225 Northgate Blvd, Sacramento, CA.

Dar Pammy, Kimmy and "Dad",

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm thinking back of all my fond high school and college memories of time spent at your house, with your mother always pleased to see me and as concerned about my welfare as if I'd been one of her own daughters. I will miss her.

Dear Ruth, Ron, Jan, Marsha, Kim -- all who grieve for Peggy: I share sorrow at the loss of your brave sister, wife, aunt and teacher, who sparkled in your lives and left gentle memories, in spite of her daily pain. Ruth often said Peggy was her cheering squad, and I know that was true. Her long fight is over. We will never stop missing her. But we can remember.
