"We are so fortunate to have known Pete and his family. Visiting with Pete and Alice at a picnic a few short weeks ago, sharing the stories and pictures of their trip to Texas is a memory we will always fondly remember.

A day never passed without a smile, a wave, or a few friendly words from Pete, a wonderful neighbor. I had a special affinity for the love he had for his grandchildren. He always had at least two in tow. I will indeed miss him. I ask God, my Merciful and Loving Father to gather Pete's family in His comforting embrace and bring them solace and peace.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's passing. Our hearts and prayers go to Alice, Geoff, Julia & all the grandkids. Pete was a great soul and will be missed by many.
