Philip Moro Obituary

MORO Sr., Philip Gene
Philip G. Moro Sr. was born June 17, 1938. Beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather went home to our Lord on July 22, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. He shared 47 wonderful years with his devoted and loving wife Christelle. Surviving him are his children of which he was very proud: Patti, Elizabeth (David), Philip, Gary (Sandy), Sandi (Ron), Michael (Simone), Crystal, Ashley and preceding him in death, his loving son, Ira. He was a loving grandfather to 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his four siblings, Jerry (Ida), Charlene (Phil), James, and Judy (Ron). Serving in the Navy before becoming a resident of Sacramento for 47 years, he retired from the Teamsters Local 150 after 35 years of dedicated service. Services will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Tuesday July 26th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of sending flowers his family asks that donations be sent to Faithway Baptist Church, 9055 Locust St, Building B-2, Elk Grove, CA 95624.
