Dear Phillip,
It´s April - and so it is that April will always be a month we pause to think of you, starting with April 1 - the day we lost you. A month of family birthdays, including yours now - April 26 - when we honor, treasure, and celebrate You!
Pictures of our trip to Alaska bring to life a spirit you gave to all, and the essence that you are still here with us! With love, we hold you close, and thank you for enriching our lives so much!

Sorry to hear of Phil´s passing.
I´m the guy that hired him to work at Barnes & Noble back in 83 he was an actor who would recite "she stood on the balcony inexplicably mimicking him hiccuping while amicably welcoming him in" I used to get a kick out that. Rest in Peace

We are very sorry and shocked to hear the news. Phillip had been a close confidante (financial advisor) and a friend over many years.
His positive outlook and his contagious smile/laugh will be great missed.

I first met Phillip through his laughter when he moved into my condo development. You knew when he and Denise were home by the sound of giggles rising over the stucco patio wall and sweeping across the parking lot. Never have I heard two people having such fun and giggling in unison. I will always remember the joy he brought.
During Phillip´s years here, he started a Writer´s Workshop in the clubhouse. There residents read what they wrote, listened to others reading their own work, listened to Phillip talk about writing, or sat with him at a table for one-on-one tutoring. So popular did this series become that the HOA began listing the sessions in the newsletter monthly calendar.
Phillip was also active in the Sacramento Poetry Center. He also gave readings around town. His essays appeared in local media. As president of a local writers club, I thought of inviting him to speak at my club, but never seemed to have time to follow up. I now I regret this lack of action, as he would have brought a wealth of enthusiasm. I can only imagine how many writers he inspired. We need more like Phillip generous with their time. And how many people did he entertain with his memorable laugh, an affirmation of life. Clearly, gone too soon, but left a legacy.

Phillip was one of the most unique individuals we ever met... He was a true Renaissance man who contributed greatly to everyones´ lives!
Phillip is the very reason why we are financially balanced and secured for the remainder of our lives. He has served my family and I for over 10 years and always encouraged us even when the stock market was headed for doom! Phillip will be remembered for his sharp wit and compassionate heart! Gone much too soon!
RIP Sir

Hidden Treasure and The Pearl
(inspired by Matthew 13)
I continually marveled across the living room floor at being married to such a fine gem returned to Sacramento, post New York - `Christian Brothers meets St. Francis´ - `Sparks´ and the `Moon´ - privy to such witty banter daily - your talents, gifts, thoughts, and ideas - `Wit & Wisdom´ like no other. Your poem, `Falling Time' - a treasured masterpiece.
You made a difference in people´s lives, lifting them up with your kindness, laughter, brilliance, and inspiration to share, whether be it on stage, in a client´s living room, or in a grocery store planning your next entertaining meal. I miss engaging in and watching the special relationship between you and your son, Ray, and all your valued family and friends.

With loving thoughts today on Phillip´s Birthday (4/26/24), my condolences to all of you who loved him - for whom he took such pride and care to love in return, I am sharing ...
the `Hidden Treasure´ and `Pearl of Great Price´ - will be deeply missed - but forever valued.

My deepest condolences to Phillip's family. As one of the multitude of people who connected with through writing, I spent some very pleasant times listening to his readings of his "tricubes" and talking about theater and poetry.

Phillip was a great friend. We´ve known him for 20 years. He was my financial advisor and is responsible for us having what we have and living the life we want. He´s the reason I was able to retire when I did. He was such a friend of my bands and keen supporter of our shows. I came as such a shock when I heard the news of his death. He spoke so highly of Ray. He had an infectious positive attitude and laugh I´ll never forget. Our world will be a much worse place without you in it. We will miss you. RIP
