Phoebe Bourne Obituary
November 22, 1931 - February 27, 2024
Sacramento, California - Beloved wife of William Bourne, who passed away on February 5, 2024. Louise was born in Summit New Jersey to Theodore Dwight Bunce III and Phoebe Sargent Seward. She was preceded in death by her sister Leila and brother Dwight. Louise is survived by her two daughters and foster son, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a Girl Scout leader for 14 years and worked as a bookseller at B. Daltons for over 25 years. Along with creating a library at her synagogue, she sang in the choir, and volunteered with the Light Opera Theatre of Sacramento. Louise was a passionate person who enjoyed reading, gardening, painting, cooking and sewing. She made everything she touched beautiful. No services are planned at her request.
