Elk Grove, California - Phyllis was born on April 28, 1942 in New York. She passed away in Elk Grove, CA on September 1, 2021. She was happily married to her true love, Howard (Howie) from 1960 until his death in 2007. She will be deeply missed by her children Radyne (David), Suzanne (Warren), her granddaughters, Anne, Megan, Amanda, and Ellen, her sister Fran, and extended family and friends.
Phyllis enjoyed completing the New York Times Sunday crossword (in ink), was an avid reader, loved her family, her country, dogs, and a good cup of coffee. Services will be held at Home of Peace Cemetery, Sacramento, CA on Monday, September 6 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA.

Dear Radyne, Suzanne and families,
How sad to hear of your mom's passing. I think back to when your parents were married and the times we spent together long ago. Know that the Pockrass family east of the Mississippi cares about you and hopes that many good memories of the past will give you comfort in the days and years ahead. Your mother, Phyllis, left a wonderful legacy to all.
