VOLK, Ralph B.
In Sacramento on November 20, 2009 at 3:00pm, the Lord embraced a dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and welcomed him into Heaven. Ralph was born on June 1, 1931 in Devils Lake, ND to Matt & Mary Volk. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 58 years, Margaret; his sister Mary Marlene; children, Ralph (Sandra), Maureen (Hector) and Mark (Kim). He is also survived by grandchildren, Cedar, Matthew, Patrick, Jasmin, Bryce and Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Marines from 1951 to 1953 and was a member of the Sons In Retirement- Elk Grove Branch #156. He retired from Weinstock's in 1993 after 29 years of employment. He was one of the kindest people on earth, a master handyman and he loved to tell a good joke. Family and friends are welcome to a ''Celebration of Life'' on December 6, 2009 from Noon to 3:00pm at the home of his daughter Maureen, 4217 G Street, Sacramento, CA 95819.
