Raymond Bertolasi Obituary

BERTOLASI, Raymond "Bert"
Born 3/22/37 in Rockford, IL, died 12/17/03 on the road, Greenville TN. Raised Rockford, IL joined the Airforce and proudly served his country in Korea and Viet Nam. Retired after 20yrs service. He became a long distance truck driver and was awarded numerous safety awards. He was an active member of the VFW, Elks & Moose Lodges. Survived in Sacramento by his wife of 47 years, Nelda, daughters Theresa & Regina Bertolasi, grandchildren Emily & Alex Leven, & Carolyn Mingo, son in law Robert Leven & mother in law Josephine Baum Hogue. In Rockford he is survived by his brother Robert & sister in law Lois Bertolasi, nephews Mark & Brian Bertolasi, & niece Nicole Bertolasi, many cousins & friends. In Texas brother in law Wm & Kay Baum & family. Predeceased by daughter Angela. He was a man of generous spirit and will be missed in all 50 states. Visitation 10AM, Service 12PM, 12/29 Mt Vernon 8201 Greenback.
