Our condolences to Regina's family (particularly Rachel, Delisha and "MyMy"). We had the pleasure of spending time with Regina a few summers ago in Chicago and the memory that comes to mind the most is when we all walked to Navy Pier from the Taste of Chicago. Regina kept asking how far we had to go and I responded "right there". Well right there turned out to be miles away and when we finally neared our destination and I announced, "We're almost there", Regina simply looked at me and "growled" (lovingly). We will cherish that summer forever and this past November when we all met for breakfast in Sacramento before flying back to Chicago. We will miss Regina and her easy smile and great sense of humor.

I'm sorry to hear about Regina's passing. We graduated from high school together. She was a sweet, freindly person that was always smiling. I don't think I've seen her since but after 30 years, I haven't forgotten her and never will. My prayers are with her family.

I am deeply sadden to learn the loss of a true friend. Regina and I grew up in Stockton. We attended middle, high and summer school together. She always smiled and always laughed. It has been so long since we last seen each other, but I know her lasting impression on those she touched, was joyful. May the family receive blessings of strength and peace, always. Sincerely, Marla Wright Martinez
