Richard Frank "Dick" Serns

Richard (Dick) Frank Serns, born Feb 21, 1928 in Wichita, KS, died Sept 16, 2018. His home was in Loomis, CA. He is survived by his wife Wilma and his three children (mother Marianne Moran Serns Carty) Marilee Dalton of Newcastle, Diane Serns of San Diego, and Dan Serns of Burleson, TX. Stepchildren include Shawn Klug, Leigh Witzke, Christa Calvert, and Patrick Howerton, 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Serns pastored churches throughout the U.S. including Loomis and Carmichael Adventist churches. He played saxophone in a Big Band and sang with the Sierranaders Barbershop group. Interests included music, water skiing, volleyball, river rafting, travel, people, and good humor. Services at St. Joseph Morello, 9/28, 11 am, and Gracepoint Adventist, 9/29 at 3 pm.
