Carmichael, California - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Allen Belluomini from cancer complicated by advanced Alzheimer's. He was a man whose life was defined by his dedication to his family, excellence in sports, and passion for playing his many guitars.
A gifted baseball player, Bob excelled in the sport from an early age. Whether on the field or reminiscing about past games, his love for baseball was a constant source of pride. He passed down his love of baseball by playing catch with his sons in his front yard or taking them to a Giants game. He also found great joy in coaching his sons' youth soccer and basketball teams. Bob also enjoyed playing golf, handball and daily gym workouts.
Bob had a lifelong love for playing guitar. He was rarely seen without one in his hands, filling the house with the sound of his acoustic Gibson, often masking whichever sport or classic movie was playing on the television. His talent and passion for the guitar were evident to all who were fortunate enough to hear him play. The guitar was more than just an instrument to him it was a part of who he was.
Bob had over a 40-year career in the automotive industry. He dedicated 37 of those years at the former Mel Rapton Honda, ending with managing the Service and Parts Departments. His exceptional leadership and unwavering integrity earned him the trust and respect of both ownership and employees. His ability to connect with his workers on a personal level made him a mentor and friend to everyone under his leadership.
Being no stranger to the occasional practical joke, Bob knew how to bring joy to his workplace, his home, and to those that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Julius "Mike", mother Doris, and sister Karen. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Sue, sons Brian and Robert "Brett", brothers Jerry (Kay) of Rocklin and Jim (Heather) of Nevada City, in addition to many nieces and nephews, all of whom will always cherish his memory.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Life lunch at Milagro Event Center in Carmichael on April 27th at 11:00 a.m., 6241 Fair Oaks Blvd.

My heart is sad to hear this, my deepest sympathies to your family . He was my boss at Mel Rapton, but more than that, he was someone I admired. I gave him a sweater one Christmas and was so touched that he wore it on several occasions to work. It's been many years since we worked together but he has always been someone that I have thought of throughout the years and wondered how he was doing. Hi Sue, Brian and Brett, I am so sad to hear of Bobs passing. He was such a good man and a loyal, trusted and every much appreciated employee. He was always in such good shape and so strong it is so sad 2 nasty diseases took him from you. He was so proud of all of you. I feel blessed to have had him as it was an employee for so long that I also considers him a friend.
