Robert W. "Bob" Eggerss

Robert "Bob" W. Eggerss, our beloved husband, father and friend, passed away on February 6 at the age of 91. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa in December of 1925, served proudly in the Army Air Corp as a pilot, graduated college with a bachelor's degree, married in 1948 and lived with his wife in Lincoln for the past 15 years. Bob was an optimistic, upbeat, fun loving man who touched everyone he met. He was an avid sports fan, voracious reader, and lover of people. He gave generously to numerous foundations supporting medical cures and kind treatment of animals. He was loved by all who knew him and will live in the hearts of many friends and family. He will be greatly missed by Lillian, his wife of 68 years, his daughter Connie Klein and husband Jim Klein of Lincoln and his daughter Candice Eggerss and husband Steve Beck of Berkeley. He will be forever remembered by his granddaughters, Diane and Kelly and their husbands Jeff and Barry, and by his three great grandchildren: Natalie, Braden and Kenna. He was preceded in death by his son, Bob, Jr. A viewing will be held Friday, Feb. 10 from 5pm-7pm at Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott St., Folsom, CA 95630. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 12 noon, at Grace Lutheran Church, 625 Second St., Lincoln, CA, 95648. Remembrances in Bob's name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church which will direct the funds in accordance with the family's wishes.
